A little bit about me: I’m a freelance Artist focusing primarily on genre work: fantasy, horror, & science fiction. I am originally from Texas, but have spent most of my life in the colorful deserts of New Mexico. In my childhood, I would spend afternoons running through tall sunflowers on my grandparents’ property, hiking all over mountains and deep in gullies, exploring – falling into cactus patches. All the while drawing dragons, space adventures, and all kinds of monsters.
I attended the Albuquerque Technical Vocational Institute and The University of New Mexico - Taos, where I studied everything from Commercial Printing, Studio Art, and Photography. I then spent over twenty years working as a graphic and web designer. In my early forties, I began to draw again, and through a regular practice, transitioned from Designer to Artist.
